1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of tutoring services provided by Johnny Robinson trading as John Lindon Mathematics Tutor ("we," "us," or "our"). By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

We provide private mathematics tutoring services including:

Pre-GCSE Mathematics tutoring
GCSE Mathematics tutoring
A-Level Mathematics tutoring
A-Level Further Mathematics tutoring

Sessions may be conducted in-person at agreed locations or online via video conferencing platforms.

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Booking

All bookings must be made through our website or by direct communication
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment or agreement of payment terms
We reserve the right to decline bookings at our discretion

3.2 Payment

Payment is due before or immediately after each lesson unless otherwise agreed
Rates are as quoted and may be subject to change with 30 days' notice
Payment can be made by bank transfer, cash, or other agreed methods
Late payment may result in suspension of services

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

4.1 Student Cancellations

24 hours' notice required for cancellations to avoid charge
Less than 24 hours' notice may result in full session charge
Emergency cancellations will be considered on a case-by-case basis

4.2 Tutor Cancellations

We will provide as much notice as possible for cancellations
Alternative session times will be offered where possible
No charge will be made for tutor-cancelled sessions

5. Responsibilities

Provide professional and competent tutoring services
Maintain appropriate safeguarding standards
Respect confidentiality and privacy
Provide a safe learning environment

5.2 Student/Parent Responsibilities

Attend sessions punctually and prepared
Provide accurate contact and emergency information
Maintain respectful behavior during sessions
Complete agreed homework and practice
Communicate any concerns or issues promptly

6. Safeguarding

7. Privacy and Data Protection

8. Liability and Insurance

We maintain appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance. However, our liability is limited as follows:

We cannot guarantee specific academic outcomes or examination results
Our liability for any loss or damage is limited to the value of sessions provided
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages
Students' personal belongings are their own responsibility

9. Intellectual Property

All teaching materials, resources, and content provided during sessions remain our intellectual property unless otherwise stated. Students may use materials for personal study but may not reproduce or distribute them without permission.
